Please Keep The Rice Family in Prayer

My heart has been very heavy and in Prayer for a very dear Family this week.  This is an amazing family that has walked a storm for the past 79 days.  Their love and Faith in the Lord is a true testament.  This is not the first time but the third time they have gone done this path with our Almighty Father.  Each time all the Glory has been given and Lives have been changed.  Our Human minds can not comprehend why such a precious little life would be take so earlier but that is not for us to know only He knows the plans he has for our lives.   What we do know is through this little babies life literally thousands have be praying and many have come to the knowledge and saving Grace of Salvation and will one day live in Glory with Jesus Christ. All because one family did not loose their Faith and Trust in our Lord when they were given a storm.  Please take a moment and lift this family to the Throne of our Maker and Saviour.

LORDSTOWN – Josie Grace Rice, 2 months, entered into the presence of our Lord at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at Akron Children’s Hospital from complications of pulmonary hypertension.
Josie was born on Nov. 10, 2010, in Youngstown, the daughter of Lee and Melissa (Webster) Rice.
Besides her parents of Lordstown, Josie is survived by two sisters, Lindsay and Bethany Rice, both at home; paternal grandparents Larry and Joann Rice; maternal grandparents Les and Nancy Webster, all of Lordstown; a step great-grandmother, Kari Rice of Yorkville, Ill.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Josie was preceded in death and now resides in heaven with her two toddler brothers, Jesse Lee and Toby Lee Rice.

This is what They posted on their Facebook today Very AMAZING!!

One week ago, I was sitting in the hospital wondering what the week would bring. I can honestly tell you, God has been so good to us. While some may wonder how I can say that, it is true. Please read the first comment for more.
    • God IS good. He has given us so many blessings. He allowed us to hold Josie one more time. He provided many friends to sit with us while God took her Home. We prayed that God would heal her tiny heart and He DID! It was not the way we wanted, but God DID heal her. She is not suffering or in any pain. Yes, I would rather she was here with me, but I know my Lord did HIS perfect will. I may not understand, but one day I WILL! I can't wait for that wonderful reunion with my children, when they run into my arms and we are never separated again! Oh what a day that will be! So you see, God is good. Lamentations 3:21-23 "This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassion's FAIL NOT. They are new EVERY morning: Great is The FAITHFULNESS!"

Please take a moment and watch this memorial video that was played at Josie's Services.  As you do just Pray for continued strength for this family.

  1. My heart breaks for them Heidi, but, what a beautiful testimony they are living out in the midst of this. Thank you Jesus! It inspires me so much I know it is going to help heal the heart of other grieving parents out there who will find hope in their testimony. Oh that my life would give Him such glory even in the most difficult and tragic of circumstances. -Thank you for sharing this my sweet friend! I LOVE YOU -TIFF
